Lutamin Dodacova

Played during a campaign called Master Dresden's Wizard Academy.Initially known only as "Lute," A small porcelain doll created by famed elven inventor Velaruus Dodacova for the purpose of guarding his workshop.Was sent to Blightbane Academy in order to improve her arcane skills, but took being sent away by her creator harshly as she desperately wanted his approval.She had a flat, emotionless way of speaking, and referred to herself in third-person. Both of these traits gradually fell away after the revelation that she was not just a doll, but the soul of Velaruus' late daughter inhabiting one built in her image.She sought to recover her lost memories from when she was alive, and to solve the mystery surrounding her murder and why she was brought back- at the same time struggling emotionally with each revelation.By the end of the campaign, she had recovered her body and been truly revived. Though, she still seems to have some sort of bond/connection to the Lute automaton.Personality wise, Lute's developed a sense of hyper-vigilance after recovering her memories, especially those of her murder.
So while she's eager and bright, as well as an extremely capable wizard, she still makes use of the heightened stealth and blade skills she used as a rogue in her doll form.
She also has a complex about her ability to protect the people around her, and is quick to jump into action when they're in danger. Of course, this is against her father's wishes.She loves sweets, tea, lemonade, and is fond of seafood.
She specializes in abjuration magic, and when she goes on the offensive prefers to use ice-based spells.

The Class of True Potential

Agnes Hale
A human noble's daughter with an interest in firearms, food, and evocation. Infamous for her fireballs, like any good wizard.
While often distracted by local restaurants and spending her father's money, she's a serious girl who puts a great deal of effort into improving herself in order to make her family proud and protect her friends.
Went on to become a diplomat for her kingdom.

Aliyah Caska
A half-elven blind seer who specializes in divination magic. An important figure in her community's religious practices, as well as lutamin's cousin.
Her parents believed themselves to be responsible for the death of Velaruus' wife (Lute's mother), but through the party's efforts the families were able to reconcile.
Currently on a journey to clean up one of the more dangerous messes left behind post-campaign.

Rydar
A mysterious, brooding aasimar with his heart set on hiding his circumstances from the party and a huge sweet tooth. Lies as easily as breathing and approaches most situations with the mentality of a trickster committing to a bit. Took an interest in chronomancy and toon magic.
Developed a crush on Agnes over the course of their adventures. His confession was not taken seriously.

Yuto
Another gepettin, but unlike Lute, came in the form of a well-loved plush kitten.
A warlock seeking revenge on the man who killed his best friend - the young boy who was originally supposed to be attending Blightbane in his place.
Eventually bashed said killer's head in with a comically large axe.

Most drawings of Lute are from before we found out Velaruus based her design on his daughter, so she was later retconned to have pointy ears even as a doll.

Some things change, some don't.

I just like playing dress-up with her, lol.

These were all doodled during the arc in which it was discovered Lute and Aliyah were cousins. And also that Lute's dad was fully ready to murder Aliyah's parents.

At the end of that particular arc, Velaruus finally figured out that lute was lutamin.
She was hiding it because she didn't want him to be disappointed in case her memories never fully returned.

Hevis Khane

Played during a campaign called Melamar's Many Private Eyes.An eccentric inventor who found himself playing detective to make ends meet after an apparent bout of madness which resulted in a job with a large client falling through.He takes little interest in anything except machines and tinkering, and tends to view any social interactions as carefully practiced performances of 'normality.'
He often forgoes necessities like food and sleep in exchange for more time to work on his creations, with coffee as his beverage of choice.Despite being born to human parents, there is something distinctly 'inhuman' about him.
His unnatural height, the unnerving gleam in his perceptive eyes, and his heightened connection to spirits. The latter being much to his annoyance, as he shares his head with a man he's known for the past thirty-something years as just 'Cedric'. (Who the party later identified as the late Dr. Alfrin Cedric Montomanse, a notable figure in the string of cases they'd been investigating over the course of the campaign.)
Hevis dislikes giving up control of his body, but Cedric does have the capability of fronting- even against Hevis' will.While working as private eyes, the party often ran into another detective they'd consider their rival called the inquirer.
Hevis took a keen interest in him immediately due to the fact that he's a warforged, and thus an intricately complex piece of sentient machinery.
This turned into the most looney tunes ass enemies-to-lovers plot of all time, considering The Inquirer's sole purpose was to make sure Hevis lost all his work and had to go crawling back to his old employer Jethro Redgaze.

The Private Eyes

Jane Doe
An elven woman using an alias.
A sharpshooter and sniper extraordinaire whose career as a detective serves as her undercover identity.
In actuality, she's a spy known as Topaz who works for an organization called Brilliance.
Seems to be investigating the campaign's titular character, the beholder Melamar, and his connection to a figure known as The Gambler.
Often wonders if she has to kill the rest of the party for knowing too much.

Therese
A young human woman who ran away from home to make it on her own as a performer following a violent outburst and subsequent estrangement from her family.
Has been tormented over the course of the campaign by a demonic mask that bound itself to her. The whole situation sent her on a paranoid downward spiral, which as it turns out, was the mask's goal as it was attempting to steal her body.
She has since teamed up with the being trapped within the mask to kill the fae responsible for this arrangement.

Pyxis
An astral elf, and the captain of a band of pirates from the astral plane who found himself in the realm of dawn following an accidental summoning.
The woman who summoned him was certain he was an angel of the god Fortuna, and that he must be very humble if he's insisting he's nothing of the sort.
(Her entire world view was later shattered when it was proven he was, in fact, not actually an angel.)

Younger Hevis. Like, in his twenties.
He used to work for Velaruus, before Lute was killed.

Lute showed up a few times as an NPC in Melamar's, and even lent Hevis the Lute automaton to assist him in exchange for helping her out.
